The Race:

 The race is a low-budget, grassroots stage race that offers riders a tough and challenging 5 days of riding through Oman's picturesque countryside.  A key objective is to get as many people out racing and attempting a multi-stage mtb race.

Most riders use it as preparation to their Cape Epic bid later in March while others take it on as a personal challenge.  In any case, be assured that you will have some great memories and great rides!

Race Format:

• Open Men and Open Women categories.
• Individual entrants
• 4 days of demanding adventurous racing
• 2 water stations per route
• Time cutoff of 8 hours from start per day
• Entrants to make their own travel arrangement to and from the start/finish line.
• Each stage starts at 0800 - that's 08:00am each day!!
• All Start and finishes at the Race Village.

Race Village:

The Race Village will be located in the Al Amaret area which is close to Muscat hotels and facilities.   

Accommodation & Transfers:

For those travelling down from Dubai, be sure to bring your camping gear and coolbox!  There will be plenty of space to lay out your gear.

For those travelling from abroad, please check out the Camping Package options available from the Muscat Dive and Adventure Centre.

They can also do airport transfers to and from the Race Village, so please contact them and get your trip arranged!!
